What’s new in GIFstack

To update: download the archive, unzip it, then replace the GifStack.lrplugin folder where you stored it. Restart Lightroom: the entry already listed in the Plug-in Manager picks up the new version, with nothing to add or re-enable.

Your settings are remembered for each burst and restored when you reopen the window, even if it was closed by mistake.

—

New “Copy settings to other sequences
” button: you tick the ones you want to propagate, one by one.

—

New “Default settings” button, for the sequence on screen or for all of them.

—

The preview no longer recomputes thumbnails every time it opens: reopening GIFstack on the same selection is much faster, and Lightroom uses far less memory.

1.2.0

—

Export is much faster. GIF assembly and stabilisation have been deeply accelerated: the processing time left is the time Lightroom takes to develop your raws, which the plugin does not control.

—

All your bursts are exported in one go. Lightroom no longer asks you to confirm its AI settings burst after burst: once for the whole batch, and processing can finally run unattended.

—

The window adapts to your screen size. On a laptop it tightens instead of overflowing, without ever hiding a setting or forcing you to scroll.

—

The maximum file size you ask for is now respected, and reached in fewer attempts.

—

GIFstack runs on Windows, in addition to macOS.

—

In your customer portal, your activations carry your computer’s name instead of an unreadable identifier.

—

A clear message when the licence is already in use on another computer, with a button that opens your activation management.
