Install GIFstack in Lightroom
Download the plugin below, then follow the four steps: two minutes — the fifth one whenever you decide to move to the full version.
Unzip the archive
Open GifStack.zip. You get a folder named GifStack.lrplugin.
On macOS that folder shows up as a single file: this is normal, do not open it.
Put it somewhere permanent
Lightroom reads the plugin from wherever you left it. If you move it or empty your downloads later, the plugin stops working. So pick a folder you will not touch again:
Add it to Lightroom
In Lightroom Classic, open File → Plug-in Manager, cliquez sur Add at the bottom left, then point to the GifStack.lrplugin.
GIFstack appears in the list with the status “Enabled”. Close the window.
Create your first animation
Select a series of images in the Library module, then File → Plug-in Extras → Create a GIF.
Without a licence GIFstack runs as a trial: every feature is active, resolution is capped at 480 px and a badge is composited onto the animation.
Activate the full version
Choose your plan on the pricing section — €29 per year or €69 for a lifetime licence. Payment happens on a secure page; your licence key arrives by email within minutes, along with the invoice.
In Lightroom, open File → Plug-in Extras → Manage my licence, paste the key you received and confirm. The resolution cap and the trial badge disappear straight away.
You can use the trial as long as you like before buying: the key is added to your existing installation, nothing needs reinstalling.
If something goes wrong
Check that no space slipped in at the start or the end when copying. If the problem persists, write to us with your order reference.
Check in the Plug-in Manager that GIFstack is listed and enabled. If the status says the plug-in cannot be found, the folder has been moved: remove the entry and redo step 3.
No images are selected. GIFstack needs at least two images selected in the Library module.
